Setting Netflix Parental Controls. Netflix offers parental controls on two levels on an account level that will affect all members and profiles using the account as well as on an individual profile level affecting only a specified user. It is important for parents to lock their own profile that they use on Netflix so that kids cannot log on to it and view mature shows.
